"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."
-- Winston Churchill
These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read:
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read:
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the
wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person
must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the
government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to
work because the other half is going to take care of them;
and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work,
because somebody else is going to get what they work for,
that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Romney should also be on that Poster, he is just a clone of Obama. Things will NOT change with Romney. To take back our once great Country, vote for Ron Paul. Resistance is Victory!
No body can stop an idea who's time has come. Vote for Freedom, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Thanks for your comment, Freedom Lover. Sorry I can't agree with you... it's not that I am a big fan of Romney... he was not my first choice. And while there are some positions Paul espouses that I agree with, I have 2 main reasons I cannot support him: 1) His age. The office of the President is probably one of the most stressful jobs on the planet, and even someone young and healthy will have a huge task to perform as President. 2) I disagree with the degree of change that Paul wants to take immediately. It's not that we don't need many changes... we do. But I don't perceive him as a thoughtful individual capable of looking at the big picture. I see him as a reactionary and fear that his plans could take the country down. My hope is that we get enough strong conservatives in both the House and the Senate to push through changes and keep Romney on the conservative path.
Freedom Lover - 100$ agree!
tiedyejudy - Ron Paul would not be the oldest president if he were elected and he is in fine health so that is a very poor excuse for why you would not vote for Ron Paul. For your #2 reason, his thoughtfulness and grasp on the big picture is why he was able to accurately predict the blow back we got from our meddling in the middle east. He also had the foresight to accurately predict the housing bubble and bust. He was warning us about economic despair since before the twin towers were hit. For his world views, He is the only presidential candidate that has Israel's backing. If you are afraid that he will enact too much change too quickly, then you forget that there are 2 other branches of the government that he will have to work with to get things done. This will slow down and moderate the change. Ron Paul has so many positives and so many things that our country needs that even if you have 1 or 2 things you don't like about him, he far outweighs the 10 or so things that make Romney a bad candidate or the 20 or so things that make Obama a bad existing president. Ron Paul is giving us the choice to pick someone that is truly good for this country. He is giving us the ability to stop the madness of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. Even if the GOP picks Romney as their choice, it does not mean that he has to be your choice. You have the right to write in whoever you want and feel would be the best person for the job. I'm writing in Ron Paul and will raise hell if I'm not given the option to write in a candidate on the electronic ballot at my local booth.
Sorry, Steve L.... I keep remembering '92, when Ross Perot was running. He made a lot of sense in a lot of ways, but I think he would have been a disastrous President. I feel the same about Paul. By all means, write him in! Last time I looked, we are still a Republic, and have the freedom to choose. That's what this is all about... preserving our freedom and independence.
