Who am I?

I am a member of the Baby Boom generation. I hope to devote this blog to what that means to me... where I come from, how I got here, and what I believe in. I plan to make this a civil blog, where I can discuss ideas and concepts with little or no acrimony or hostility. To me, civil discourse is a means to discuss different viewpoints without rancor, thereby allowing for growth. I believe we must grow or die, so we'd best put our differences aside and strive for solutions...
